Digital opt-in

SMS consent is separate from the Privacy acknowledgment, both boxes are unchecked by default, and consent is not required to join an event.
Administrator-assisted opt-in
Members may also give permission directly to a Florida Cruisers administrator.
The administrator must read or show the complete SMS disclosure, separately confirm the Terms and Privacy Policy acknowledgment, and receive a clear yes from the mobile subscriber. The administrator records whether permission was verbal or written, how it was received, the time, the disclosure version, and their own administrator identity. Membership alone is never treated as SMS consent.
